Inaugural gala set to benefit children with disabilities in Kansas City area [Video]

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – A local charity is set to dress to the nines and hopes community members will show out for an inaugural gala set to benefit Kansas City children.

Variety KC announced on Wednesday, April 17, that it is set to host more than 650 guests and 50 volunteers at the inaugural Heart of Inclusion Gala during the charity’s 90th anniversary. The event is scheduled to be held at the Overland Park Convention Center, 6000 College Blvd., at 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 20.

Gala officials indicated that guests will be welcomed into an immersive and interactive fundraising experience to further the organization’s mission of becoming the most inclusive city in the world.
