Graduate Student Association at UNR invites community to Unity in Diversity event [Video]

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) – Come join the Graduate Student Association (GSA) at UNR for its annual Unity in Diversity event, where students and community leaders will celebrate different cultures and embrace the beauty of togetherness.

Taissa Lytchenko, external vice president of GSA, and Allison Ferguson, the GSA office manager and marketing coordinator, stopped by Morning Break to talk about the importance of this event.

Unity in Diversity takes place Wednesday, March 13 from 5-8 p.m. at Nightingale Concert Hall (1335 N. Virginia Street, Reno). Money raised will be donated to the GSA general fund which sponsors student awards, scholarships and programming. This event features a variety of speakers, performances, artistic expressions, University and local community clubs, organizations, non-profits, businesses, vendors and sponsors.
