HOMEWOOD, Ala. (WBRC) – It’s not just a walk, it’s a celebration!

Best Buddies Alabama is hosting their Friendship Walk Saturday, April 13, at Patriot Park in Homewood.

This is a chance for the community to find out more about Best Buddies Alabama as they expand their practice from elementary to adult age.

Grace Ann Maughan with Best Buddies Alabama said while it’s called a walk, it’s less about the walk itself and more about celebrating all of the incredible accomplishments of the year.

The event is free to attend, but Best Buddies asks those who are attending to register on their website here.

The Friendship Walk starts at 10 for registration that morning.

Food, drinks, inflatables will be on site for the whole family.
