Fox Cities Company launches new program promoting inclusivity and offering employability skills [Video]

APPLETON, Wis. (WFRV) – Valley Packaging Industries, Inc. (VPI) launched a new program that furthers its dedication to empowering individuals with physical and/or cognitive disabilities.

Inclusion Clothing Co is a clothing store designed to empower their pre-employment clients and provide hands-on training for those looking to join the workforce or pursue a path in the apparel printing industry.

“We work on a lot of different lines with napkins and paper plates, and we do a lot of displays,” said Amy Jansen. “In here, I work on the heat press.”

From shipping and packaging to managing and designing an apparel store, VPI is teaching its clients to do it all.

“They help prepare us to succeed working at a job in the community,” said Jansen. “It’s fun, and we’ve learned a lot of different skills.”
