The Gilbert Family Foundation is proud to invest in programs and partnerships that support small business owners and elevate the entrepreneurial ecosystem.

In this video, we highlight The Hustle, a program and exhibit created by the Detroit Historical Society with support from the Gilbert Family Foundation to celebrate, bring awareness to and strengthen Detroit’s Black entrepreneurs. Featured in the video are two of the co-founders of Round 1 Gaming Lab, Tyrell Slappey and Terrance Crowell, as well as Detroit Historical Society’s Rebecca Salminen-Witt, Chief Development & Communications Officer.
