Prouty Pottery offers a variety of events to flex your creativity [Video]

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KEVN) – Located in the old Landstrom’s building is a business called Prouty Pottery. The business provides customers with a space and materials to work with on a variety of artistic projects. The main focus on Thursday, April 25, was the “Wheel of Fun” nights. The owner, Hester Prouty, explains what the events are and how she came up with the idea.

“A lot of people don’t have a lot of time so I decided let’s just do a two-hour fun event where they can actually make pieces that they can take home after they’re already finished up and fired, so it’s been really popular,” Prouty said.

Prouty emphasized keeping an eye out for openings because these classes do fill up fast.

“So they do fill up very quickly so Facebook is the best place to look at those or you can just call our studio to look at those,” Prouty said.
