A New Orleans bar where a security guard was killed early Monday morning has addressed safety concerns brought to light after the shooting. This comes after New Orleans City Council members are demanding safety reviews of the bar.The owner of Wit’s Inn spoke exclusively with WDSU about the shooting and his reaction to some city council members calling for his business to be potentially shut down. The owner, who asked not to be identified, said that Darriel King was a hero and saved lives Sunday night when he was shot trying to keep someone from entering the bar.According to the owner, he has a strict age restriction for the bar.
