New monthly Native American Arts and Crafts Market begins this weekend | News [Video]

EUGENE, Ore. — The Eugene Native American Arts and Crafts Market is holding its first monthly market at the Farmer’s Market Pavilion from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on March 3.

The free, family-friendly event will feature 20 local Native American artists who will be selling handmade jewelry, beadwork, fine art, crafts, clothing, and more.

“Everything’s handmade by the artists, and we kind of require that – that they’re authentic, made by Native American artists and crafters by themselves or their families,” said event organizer Marcy Middleton.

This event is derived from the annual Winter Native American Arts and Crafts Market, which was started by two local members of the Native American community in 2013.
