Dr. Sumi Siddiqua is a Professor at the University of British Columbia (Okanagan campus). Siddiqua is an active leader of Women in Engineering and a chair of the EDI Task Force in the Canadian Geotechnical Society. She has worked diligently to create an excellent, welcoming research environment for women and actively hires students from diverse backgrounds.
