Mayor Frank Scott, Jr. creates map for minority-owned businesses as part of OpportUNITY Little Rock Initiative | KLRT [Video]

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock Mayor Frank Scott, Jr. created a minority business enterprise map to identify minority businesses in the capital city.

This is part of his OpportUNITY Little Rock initiative created to provide business leaders with the skills and knowledge to increase internal diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts while supporting small and disadvantaged businesses to competitively engage as suppliers.

Scott believes that by facilitating collaboration among multiple industries, small and disadvantaged businesses, financial institutions, and public service entities, they can effectively stimulate the economy and cultivate a sustainable economic environment that benefits all Little Rock citizens.
