JARS Cannabis is the first Denver cannabis company to receive all of the city’s “badges” for positive community impact
DENVER — JARS Cannabis has been named Denver’s first Cannabis Cares Champion, which is set to be announced Saturday at the Mile High 420 Festival.
The distinction comes after the company received all five badges under a new program started by the city last year to honor cannabis companies for community involvement and other positive impacts.
“We created the Cannabis Cares program as a way to recognize cannabis businesses that are giving back to the community, but also so consumers could be aware so they could shop with their values,” said Molly Duplechian with Denver Excise and Licenses.
Duplechian says multiple companies have received at least one of the badges, but JARS is the first to receive all of them.
