In Delaware, we’re facing a crisis that affects nearly 42,734 students who may graduate high school without the tools to make smart financial decisions. According to the 2023 National Report Card on State Efforts to Improve Financial Literacy in High Schools, Delaware received a “C” and is projected to maintain this grade through 2028 if no action is taken.
House Bill 203 will solve that for Delaware and make financial literacy part of the high school curriculum, ensuring all high school graduates are prepared for the financial decisions ahead of them as young adults.
