Day prom held for special education students in Fairfax County [Video]

FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. — A prom like no other in the DMV is getting us uplifted with its impact and power of diversity, inclusion, and providing the feeling of being seen.

That was all on display recently at a multi-school prom that was held for a group of wonderful students who attend Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS).

After a 5-year hiatus, FCPS held it’s multi-school day prom for around 100 special education students. 

Young people from Centreville, Chantilly, Edison, Hayfield, Justice, Lewis, Oakton and South Lakes high schools were there in their finest and got to dance, socialize and pose for the cameras at the CrystalView Wedding and Events Banquet Hall in Fairfax.
