ASU groups helping students share business ideas [Video]

TEMPE, AZ (3TV/CBS 5) — The ROTC program at Arizona State University just won a big award — and that’s Something Good!

The Sun Devil ROTC Battalion won the Geronimo Award for Best Large Program in the Southwest. They beat out 35 other schools to win the award, which recognizes excellence in fulfilling the mission of the U.S. Army.

The award highlights the Sun Devil Battalion’s commitment to diversity, both in terms of student demographics and their areas of study at ASU. More than 50 second lieutenants were produced through the battalion last year, well above the goal of 36!
