Zumbrota Businesses Gear Up for Holiday Season | News [Video]

Zumbrota, Minn.- With Black Friday weekend coming up at the end of the week, small businesses in Zumbrota, like Dwell Local, are looking forward to the holiday season. 

Paul Bennett, owner of Dwell Local, said the Black Friday weekend and Small Business Saturday are one of the biggest times of year for many small businesses in Zumbrota. 

A sentiment echoed by shoppers like Briana Allers, who is also a small business owner herself. 

“The money is staying local so it’s kinda cool, we’re all helping put food on each other’s tables essentially.” Allers said. 

According to Bennet, Zumbrota is a small business shopping destination, due to being at the crossroads of several major Minnesotan cities, such as Rochester, Minneapolis, St. Paul and Mankato.
