Walmart To Get Rid Of DEI Policies [Video]

Walmart has revealed that it will be rolling back on its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies. 

The change comes after it was established in 2020 after the tragic death of George Floyd. The retailer also announced that it will pull out of a “prominent LGBTQ+ right index and will not prioritize suppliers based on race and gender.” 

This move also comes after the U.S. Supreme Court’s 2023 decision to end affirmative action in college admissions. Robby Starbuck, a conservative commentator applauded these new efforts from multiple conservative groups. 

He went on his Twitter account and criticized the companies that have DEI policies. Other companies such as Ford, Lowe’s, and Harley Davidson, have also announced that they are cutting their DEI policies as well. 

“This is the biggest win yet for our movement to end wokeness in corporate America,” Starbuck wrote. He also added that conversations with Walmart had influenced their decision.
