A public affairs officer says it was removed as they “continue to fully execute” executive orders issued by President Donald Trump.

HAMPTON, Va. — Access to a diversity initiative created by Joint-Base Langley Eustis Air Force has been removed from the military installation’s website, following the directives of President Donald Trump to remove diversity-related initiatives from the federal government. 

The webpage, linking to information on a program called the “Breaking Barriers Alliance” is no longer active on the Air Force base’s website. 

A Google summary of the inactive link describes the alliance as “a JBLE initiative to cultivate diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I).”

According to a public affairs officer for the base:

The website has been removed as we continue to fully execute and implement all directives outlined in the Executive Orders issued by the President, ensuring that they are carried out with utmost professionalism, efficiency, and in alignment with national security objectives.
