State lawmakers are taking a deep dive into Tennessee’s bail system and GPS monitoring. One case discussed during hearings on Capitol Hill this week: a woman killed by her ex-boyfriend while he was out on bond. He had strict conditions to stay in Davidson County, but those bail conditions were not followed. Where are the weaknesses in the system that should have protected the victim?
