The moment a van reverses into Cardiff shop causing thousands of pounds of damage [Video]

A business owner said he is devastated after a van reversed into his shop twice causing significant damage. The incident happened at around 2.30am on the morning of Sunday, December 15 at the Vape Labs store on Broadway near Adamsdown in Cardiff.

CCTV footage taken by Vape Labs owner Atiq Rahman shows the Vauxhall van mount the kerb outside his premises and reverse into the building once before moving forward and reversing into the building again and then driving away. South Wales Police said an investigation is ongoing but no arrests have yet been made.

Mr Rahman said: “They reversed twice into the shop. They reversed, mounted the kerb and smashed into the shop, then went forward again and reversed back into the shop. It’s happened twice. I couldn’t believe it when I saw the footage.”
