HONOLULU (Island News) – The Local Doctor is back with everyday solutions! Today on Good Morning (GMH) Hawaii Dr. Ira Zunin shared what benefits and risks are present for men and women who are considering Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT).
Dr. Zunin, the Medical Director at Manakai O Malama Integrative Healthcare Group and Rehabilitation Center, joined us live on GMH to share what HRT is and what it can do for men and women.
HRT has been trending online for some time now and it’s generated an interest in both men and women.
“It works well for symptoms of menopause such as hot flashes, insomnia, anxiety, brain fog, mood swings, fatigue and changes in sexual functions. Men may have some of these symptoms, not hot flashes, but also loss of muscle mass,” explained Dr. Zunin.
