SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – The 7th annual Sioux Falls Native American Day Parade will be happening Monday in Sioux Falls with events planned through the afternoon.
The parade will begin at 11 a.m. at 13th & Phillips Avenue.
“We are starting it off with a prayer at Lyon Park to honor our Grand Marshal, Ellen Medicine Horn, and then the fun run starting at 10:45, then after that the parade will begin at 11 and then following that we will have a feed at the Multicultural Center for the first 500 people and then at Falls Park we will have our gathering, so a traditional Wacipi will start at 1 pm,” said Char Green-Maximo of the Sioux Falls Native American Day Parade Committee.
