PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) -Colonel Douglas Macgregor addressed more than four dozen attendees at WVU-Parkersburg Monday evening.
Macgregor drove in from Washington DC and remarked how different people of the MOV are from those in the Beltline around Washington DC.
“Nobody knows anyone…there’s no sense of community,” Macgregor observed. “As I’m going to talk about this evening about some of the problems we have here in the United States, it’s easy to understand why we’ve got them cause the people in Washington, they are so dramatically removed from you…and from the world we live in. They really are!”
Macgregor’s appearance was billed as non-political. He spoke on changes in Immigration over the years and stealing of past elections, among other topics as well.
The price of admission was a non-perishable food or hygiene item to aide communities affected by Hurricane Helene.
