Rochelle L. Ford, PhD, APR, who is dean of the School of Communications at Elon University, joined “Breaking News with Media Leaders” and provided details on how Elon University strives to allow their students, faculty, and staff to be their whole selves through practicing inclusive excellence. Learn what the 2010 AEJMC Equity & Diversity Award winning program is doing now practically to ensure cultural competency for its students, faculty, and staff.

Dean Ford served as an administrator and professor at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and at Howard University. Dr. Ford has championed the diversity agenda within the public relations industry through her research, articles, grants, teaching, and service. She was inducted into the Arthur W. Page Society and is a PRWeek Hall of Fame Inductee.
