Plumber offers free monthly service to customers in need [Video]

COVINGTON, Ky. (WKRC) – A plumber in Kentucky is offering his services to his community for free.

Triple Crown Plumbing is flushing worries away by fixing pipes free of charge every first business day of the month.

The program is called Racing Hearts.

The company’s owner, Steele Hagan, said the day is dedicated to taking care of his community.

“Since they don’t have hot water and won’t be able to take a hot shower, we’ll come in and replace their water heater for free and get them up and going,” he said.

Hagan said the program was inspired by a customer he had who was strapped for cash.

“He just kept on going and showing me all these problems, let alone they hadn’t had a shower, they have no working bath, no working shower,” he said. “They just got enough money to hire me to come out to the scene, so they didn’t have enough money to hire me …
