A routine bath time for one puppy ended in a complete surprise for the owner as she discovered something new about his appearance.

In a recent TikTok video posted to the account @itsallsonny, a dog owner was bathing her Staffordshire bull terrier puppy, Sonny. She placed a lick mat on the side of the tub to keep him distracted and then started washing him. However, as she worked through the top of his head, she noticed something on his fur that wasn’t there before.

Sonny is nearly all white with a few black spots on his body, but this bathtime revealed new markings on his ears. In disbelief, she held up his ears and snapped a few pictures. He had black polka dots covering his ears, something she’d never noticed. It dawned on her: “He’s getting new black spots as he’s growing.”
