Jesse Watters used a photo of a trio of female Los Angeles firefighters to criticize the city’s fire department and its supposed emphasis on diversity initiatives.
Fires continue to displace thousands of residents in the Los Angeles metropolitan area, beginning first in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood before spreading to other parts of the region. On Wednesday night, the wildfires made it to Studio City and the Hollywood Hills.
As this was going on, the Fox News host argued that diversity initiatives were in a contributing factor in the disaster — suggesting the fire department has prioritized inclusion over fire safety.
On Jesse Watters Primetime, Watters first took aim at Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass for being out of the country during the disaster to attend a presidential inauguration in Ghana. Then, he turned his attention to fire department.
