He knows what hes doing, bar warns downtown Rapid business owners after burglaries [Video]

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – Aby’s experienced their second burglary in the past month around two in the morning Tuesday. General Manager Johnny Service says he thinks the same man is responsible for both break-ins.

“He’s quick, he’s very quick,” Service said, “He knows what he’s doing.”

Service posted security camera footage of the alleged burglar on Facebook, asking for the community’s help in identifying a man he says took about $11,000 from Aby’s cash registers and safe. Rapid City Police Spokesperson Brendyn Medina encouraged people to take note of the man’s distinctive backpack and shoes.

Service said other downtown business owners who have suffered recent burglaries contacted him and suspect the same man is responsible for stealing from their businesses.
