The auto industry has long been seen as male-dominated, but that is slowly changing. Robin Reneau, also known as Rob The Blonde Mechanic, shares her inspiring story of becoming the first Black woman mechanic to own a repair shop in Metro Atlanta.

In a recent interview on the AutoNsider, Rob The Blonde Mechanic, owner and lead technician of Georgia Auto Solutions, shares the inspiration behind her decision to open an auto body shop exclusively for women. Rob speaks about women’s challenges in the auto industry and how she wanted to create a safe and welcoming space for all customers to get their cars serviced without feeling intimidated or taken advantage of. She also discussed the importance of educating women about their cars and empowering them to be more confident drivers.
