DENVER (KDVR) — A Denver nonprofit is offering two scholarships for custom adaptive bikes for people with physical disabilities.
2LIV4 said two applicants will receive a bike from Freedom Concepts Adaptive Bikes, a company that custom-builds adaptive tricycles.

The giveaway is open to both adults and children under 18 with physical disabilities.
“Learning to ride a bike is a right of passage, creating a sense of freedom, inclusion, and independence,” 2LIV4 said on its website.
The organization said the bikes are designed to fit people with disabilities of all ages and “offer far more than just mobility.”
“They enable riders to explore the world around them, engage in physical activity, and connect with family members and peers,” it said.
The deadline for applications is July 14.
