Delay, Deny, Depose: Florida woman alludes to health care CEO killing in insurance threat [Video]

LAKELAND, Fla. (Gray News) – A Florida woman accused of threatening an insurance company has been arrested.

According to the Lakeland Police Department, officers were contacted by the FBI on Tuesday regarding the alleged threat that was made over the phone.

Briana Boston, 42, was said to have called BlueCross BlueShield that day regarding recent medical insurance claims that were denied.

Police said near the end of the call, which was recorded, Boston told a medical representative, “Delay, Deny, Depose. You people are next.”

Those words were similar to what police said were found written on the gunman’s ammunition used in the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in New York last week.

Lakeland police shared that the “Delay, Deny, Depose” phrase has become nationally recognized since the New York shooting and are recognized words directed …
