When I think about the notion of #DiversityFatigue or #DEIFatigue, it occurs to me that the right skills, clarity, and honesty about what you possess and don’t have skills-wise (integrity) and making sense with leadership so that clarity and unambiguous prioritization of #Diversity #Equity and #Inclusion actions (systemic, behavioral, and structural) are unquestioned.
It is unlikely you will make someone embody accountability. You can use your skills and those of the folks you surround yourself with to create the conditions that can shift structures.
Creating the conditions means that you work together to recognize and nudge change in patterns that can lead influential people toward owning #DEI and seeing themselves as central to making it normative and knowing why they are doing so.
