Athena Swan Institutional Culture Survey [Video]

The Athena Swan Institutional survey is conducted every two years. The Office of the Vice President for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (OVPEDI) will be launching the all staff Athena Swan Culture Survey in April 2023. Though changes have occurred, as outlined in the video above, there is still a lot of work to be done. This is your opportunity to tell us what changes need to be made to improve equality in our institution. ‌University of Galway will be applying for a Silver Athena Swan Award in 2025, and this is a strategic goal for the University. For an institution to achieve Silver accreditation they must show that they have not only implemented actions, but also that staff of all genders feel supported and tangible change has been achieved.
