All-Inclusive Travel Is Trending, With Hilton Transforming the Experience [Video]

Gen Zers are collectively entering their all-inclusive era. A new study shows 42% of Gen Z travelers prefer to stay in an all-inclusive resort over other accommodations, and one-third of Gen Z travelers report their opinion of all-inclusive resorts has changed for the better.

These statistics might be mystifying, especially as new data shows the youngest travelers crave experiences not usually associated with all-inclusives, like cultural immersion and elevated dining. But as industry leaders like Hilton debut luxurious new resorts with next-level amenities and plenty of ways to sate cultural curiosity, it’s clear the new all-inclusive experience is far from what older generations might know.

The appeal of all-inclusive travel with Gen Z is likely the most unexpected detail to emerge from the new Hotels.com Unpack ’25 Trends in Travel report, but the surprises don’t stop there. Searches on the industry-leading travel-booking platform using the “all-inclusive” filter jumped 60% across every generation of users within the last year.
