A newly released body camera video shows the moment a 100-year-old woman was rescued as flames from the Eaton Fire approached a senior living apartment complex in Altadena earlier this month.Watch the rescue footage in the video above.The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s body camera footage from Jan. 8 shows two deputies with flashlights encountering the woman with her walker in a dark hallway. The sheriff’s department identified the two deputies as Nicholas Martinez and Quinn Alkonis, who are assigned to the Carson Station.“I’ve been trying to find a way out,” the woman tells them. “Let’s get you out of here,” Martinez responds. “Don’t lose me,” she says.“We won’t lose you, don’t worry,” Alkonis says. Alkonis asks the woman if she heard them yelling earlier.“I didn’t hear. I’m deaf,” the woman responds. She says her hearing aids had been charging.
