Within days of President Donald Trump’s executive order, BPA erased all mention of DEI from its website, as if the program never existed.

PORTLAND, Ore. — The Bonneville Power Administration quietly erased its diversity, equity, and inclusion programs this week following President Donald Trump’s executive order terminating DEI programs within federal agencies. 

Within days of the President’s order, BPA had removed the name and job description of its DEI manager on an organizational chart posted to its website. All other online documents on DEI have vanished, and pages that once led to DEI programs on the BPA website now display “Page Not Found — 404” messages.

Earlier this week, the Office of Personnel Management ordered federal agencies to move quickly to end DEI programs. Federal employees working in DEI offices were to be placed on administrative leave effective immediately.
