Billionaire Tilman Fertitta has eyes on New Orleans Saints [Video]

NEW ORLEANS — Billionaire hospitality mogul Tilman Fertitta hopes to one day own the New Orleans Saints.

The current owner of the Houston Rockets NBA franchise has expressed interest in adding the Black and Gold to his growing portfolio of businesses. His business empire includes Landry’s Seafood House, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., and the Golden Nugget Casino.

Ross Jackson hosts the Locked on Saints podcast. “It doesn’t seem like the team is up for sale at this time, but if it ever were, at least now there’s finally a name out there,” Jackson said.

Fertitta told the Houston Business Journal, “I’ve always loved the New Orleans Saints, but (owner Gayle Benson) won’t sell them right now.” He also revealed it’s the team he rooted for growing up.
