SUNY Plattsburgh volleyball features new head coach on campus this fall [Video]

There is a new SUNY Plattsburgh Cardinal on campus in the school’s head-coaching room. Eimile O’Brien is taking the reins as SUNY Plattsburgh’s women’s volleyball head coach for her first head-coaching opportunity. O’Brien is familiar with Plattsburgh. She enjoyed a four-year playing career and one year as an assistant coach with Buffalo State University, another school that competes in the same conference as Plattsburgh: the State University of New York Athletic Conference. O’Brien, who will face off against her alma mater on Saturday, Oct. 5, says she is looking for the win but also credits Buffalo State for helping her land the opportunity to coach Plattsburgh State volleyball. “I think about that game a lot,” O’Brien said. “It’s going to be a full-circle moment.
