MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – The Alabama Conference of the NAACP and the Mobile NAACP Unit #5044 are set to host a virtual town hall meeting to assess the state of the economy in Alabama. The State and local Branches of the civil rights advocacy group are working with the Alabama Office of Minority Affairs (AOM).

It commissioned the law firm Griffin & Strong, PC to conduct two studies to help AOMA shape a just economic landscape for all in the State. The Procurement Study will be used to determine economic growth opportunities for Minority and Women Owned Bussinesses.

The quality of Life Study seeks to determine ways to increase additional opportunities for ethnic communities and all races.
