Regional Hospital hosts black business expo | News [Video]

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – Regional Hospital hosted a black business expo Saturday afternoon.

The event was aimed at helping black business owners connect and showcase their services.

The event had more than 20 vendors and booths. They ranged from accounting services to baked goods and pretty much everything in between.

A lot of the businesses are operated from home, but this was a chance for them to share their businesses in person with the community.

Stacia Phillips with Magnolia Accounting and Consulting had high hopes for the event. She says it was an opportunity to connect with possible clients as well as likeminded individuals.

“You know, if you need support, like, there are people here that are ready and willing to help you succeed in your organization,” said Phillips.

Representatives from the hospital say they look forward to hosting an event like this one again.
