[1] Body camera captures APD officers using slurs, glorifying violence after fatal shooting – Bodycam footage caught the exchange between officers after 30-year-old Mark Benavidez was shot and killed by officers. Officers could be heard using racial slurs toward Native Americans and glorifying violence in reference to what just happened. According to APD, an internal investigation is underway.

[2] APD: Three people found dead in southeast Albuquerque – The Albuquerque Police Department has launched an investigation after three people were found dead near Zuni and Pennsylvania in southeast Albuquerque Sunday night. APD says officers were called to the 100 block of Pennsylvania St. to a report of three people unresponsive in a residence. Officers arrived on scene and all three people were pronounced dead on scene.
