Flanner House hosts Black-owned business block party [Video]

INDIANAPOLIS — The Indianapolis nonprofit organization Flanner House hosted its 8th annual Black-owned business block party at Watkins Park on Saturday afternoon. 

Organizers told 13News that the event was created as an affordable way for business owners to connect with customers. 

The event is also building community ties and growing every year. 

“This event continues getting bigger and bigger and we just are blessed to feature so many amazing and talented people in the city,” said Dominic Dorsey.

Saturday’s event also featured a 3-on-3 basketball tournament for kids and adults along with a DJ competition.
