Fox Host Warns Against ‘Unnecessary’ Attacks On Harris Race [Video]

Fox & Friends host Lawrence Jones warned Republicans attacking Democratic presumptive nominee Kamala Harris as a diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) hire will make turn the election into an “identity politics race” and “tick voters off.”

The criticism comes after several Republicans, including Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) repeated his claim that Harris was only selected because of Harris’ racial and gender identity, in the wake of President Joe Biden’s endorsement of her.

Jones urged conservatives, to the agreement of other Fox & Friends hosts like Steve Doocy, not to “make that the one thing” they’re “attacking her on” and to focus on Harris’ record instead.
