Sierra Arts Foundation introduces UnchARTed Waters reception event [Video]

RENO, Nev. (KOLO) –The Sierra Arts Foundation will be celebrating one-of-a-kind art from one-of-a-kind artists. Heather Smith and Robin Heywood, the creators of the new exhibit, UnchARTed Waters joined us on Morning Break to share how this exhibit has opened the doors to providing an inclusive environment for creative expression.

The UnchARTed Waters Exhibit features collaborative and individual works in multiple mediums by neurodivergent and developmentally disabled artists from the UnchARTed Waters labs.

UnchARTed Waters is a Sierra Arts program dedicated to serving artists with developmental disabilities and their families through inclusion, engagement, expression, and opportunity.

The exhibition will be open from June 5 through the 29, with a reception taking place on Thursday, June 27 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

The gallery hours are Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Saturday 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
