Showered with Hope starts an official schedule [Video]

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – Showered with Hope officially started letting people use the truck a few months ago, but only recently has a schedule started to form on when and where you can find the facility.

Every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month, Showered with Hope is committed to stopping at Breadroot Natural Foods Co-op so those in need know where to find the showers.

It isn’t just showers either, free haircuts and hygiene kits are provided to anyone who needs them as well.

When asked about what owner Ted Hayward’s source of inspiration to help people is, he had a simple answer.

“Jesus, that’s all I gotta say, Jesus came into my life and completely changed my life. I was a train wreck, a horrible train wreck, and through the grace of I was able to change my life and give to others who need it,” Hayward …
