Lincoln catering trailer is hard to describe just call it Bar-ish [Video]

Morgan Hohbein and Chelsea Kubitschek always knew they wanted to venture into some sort of business together.

They just weren’t sure what it might be.

Each had experience planning events, while also tending bar — most notably on Husker Saturdays at The Railyard, where the drinks flowed freely and the crowds were seemingly never-ending.

“It’s fast-paced and we liked that,” said Kubitschek, a 29-year-old human resources and payroll specialist at Hausmann Construction.

They were presented with an opportunity to buy a small trailer — the total cost was about $15,000 — which could be used for a pop-up bar.

The problem: In Nebraska, it’s illegal to sell alcohol anywhere except a brick-and-mortar building.

“I spent hours learning and looking into it — especially the alcohol issue,” Kubitschek said.
