‘I’m just trying to live’: Milwaukee tenant’s ceiling caving in [Video]

Inside a Milwaukee man’s apartment near 19th and Capitol, part of the ceiling is caving in. Tenants asked WISN 12 News for help. “It’s just stressful. I’m just trying to live,” Christopher Hill said.Hill said his ceiling constantly drips. It’s soaking wet and caving in. Massive holes reveal something black inside. “It’s been probably like two months I’ve been dealing with the roof,” Hill said. The ceiling isn’t Hill’s only problem. He said the drains don’t work anywhere in his unit. “The bathroom not functioning right. It won’t drain like nothing will not drain,” Hill said. Hill said he uses a bucket as a makeshift kitchen sink. In the bathroom, there’s a problem you can smell from behind the door.
