Hill City hosts its first star-spangled craft, vendor fair [Video]

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – This Fourth of July weekend Hill City held its largest craft fair of the summer.

Hill City’s Star Spangled Craft and Vendor Fair hosted over 20 vendors to help small business owners and artists gain more exposure.

Many vendors in attendance are artists and say their businesses started as a hobby or passion.

”I moved up to The Black Hills, came from San Diego, was in education, took a break, moved up here, kind of shifted gears, and felt like God put it on my heart to start doing leather stuff, I also make Micah flowers. They’re made from Micah which is a mineral found here in the Black Hills and I got permission from the national forest to go in and find it,” Adonai Handmade Gifts owner, Hadassah Thompson said.
