The business accelerator is taking applications.

ST. LOUIS — A St. Louis grocery store brand is launching a program to support diverse-owned businesses in the region.

The “Schnucks Springboard” from Schnucks Markets and Mid-States Minority Supplier Development Council will support local suppliers by providing in-store product trails, funding, education and more.

Diverse-owned local businesses could receive $5,000 of equity-free funding

“Schnucks Springboard is our effort to reflect the communities we serve, to promote opportunity and innovation and to stimulate our economy,” said Adrian Moore, Schnucks Senior Director of Merchandising Enablement & Supplier Diversity in a press release. “By aligning with diverse suppliers, we are not only strengthening both our business and our communities, we are also enhancing product offerings for our customers and bolstering our ability to do business in an ever-changing environment.”

Mid-States Minority Supplier Development Council is an ambassador between minority-owned businesses and companies in eastern Missouri, central Illinois and Indiana.
